Dear attendee,

only one week from today it's happening: Reject.JS 2015, taking place in the heart of Berlin. We thank you for showing so much trust towards us by buying a ticket. This means a lot to us.

In order to make your stay and day with us as enjoyable and rewarding as possible, we prepared some information for you about the conference schedule and our preparations for you below.

Best regards
Your Reject.JS-Team

A Huge Thank You to Our Sponsors

Without the generosity of our fine sponsors this event wouldn't be possible. We're very grateful for their support. You should definitely check them out.

Your Day at Reject.JS 2015

  • 08:30am – Our venue opens and registration starts. Breakfast snacks will be prepared for all of you at the venue so you don't have to start into the day starving.
  • The talks – With one exception there’ll always be two consecutive talks of 30mins duration each, followed by a 10-20mins long break.
  • All day – We provide you with free beverages to keep you properly hydrated (and caffeinated if you like). There’ll also be fruit for you.
  • The Mozilla Demo Lounge is open all day, check out WebVR applications, see latest dev tools enhancements, chat with Mozillians or simply hack on cool stuff.
  • 12:40pm – Lunch will be served at the venue. You'll have some dishes to choose from, including vegetarian and vegan food.
  • 2:10pm – Second round of talks starts. Some delicious cake awaits you during the afternoon.
  • 7:30pm – After a session with lightning talks and our special guests we'll close the conference at around 7:30pm.
  • Reject.JS After Party – To give the day an appropriate ending we invite you to join us at the after party. We'll meet at the Crack Bellmer in Berlin-Friedrichshain (details here). Drinks are on us until the budget is gone, we’ll let you know as soon as this is the case.
  • For further details check our complete schedule.

Mind the time

To those of you who come to Berlin from abroad: we’re happy to have you! Please note that we’re on CEST (UTC+2) here. If you want to check how much difference this is to your home time zone, we recommend this page.

Arriving at Reject.JS

Reject.JS will be at Radialsystem V, Holzmarktstraße 33, 10243 Berlin. We've compiled a few tips on how to get there.

The Lineup

Out of more than 140 talk proposals we selected 11 topics that cover the range from hardware hacking and music with code to geek health and knitting bit by bit, and we’re very much looking forward to each of them. See the complete list here.

Social Media

We’re of course happy if you want to tweet about the conference – we’ll do so as well :). Official hashtag is #rejectjs, you can also mention us, we’re @RejectJS on Twitter.

Code of Conduct

Last but not least we'd like to point you towards our Code of Conduct. In short it says “Be excellent to each other!” This helps us to make sure that we are as inclusive and safe as we want everyone to be.
We also want to remind you that this Code of Conduct will be strictly enforced. If there are any violations of it, please inform one of the organisers in person or via phone (all numbers are here) immediately. We are there to help you anytime.

We care for you. If anything happens, please contact us.
